Fifth Gait Technologies is seeking professional for a position in design and testing of electronics and electronic systems in radiation environments at our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility.
Scientists in this position will be expected to develop and execute experiments demonstrating the properties of microelectronic circuits in radiation environments. A good candidate will fit with a fast paced environment where new tests are conducted every week.
Programming experience should include data analysis and embedded programming using C/C++, C#, and Python. Experience with Verilog or VHDL preferred.
Applicants shall be U.S. citizens and shall comply with applicable program security requirements. The applicant must be able to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance. An active Secret clearance within the last 2 years is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related fields. Advanced degree is a plus.
2 years of experience in circuit design, analysis and test. Experience with micro controllers, FPGAs and mixed signal design preferred. Experience with radiation test facilities is a plus.
